Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

AUTHOR GUIDELINES

 

NEW SUBMISSION GUIDELINES FOR AUTHORS

  1. In order to increase the publication quality of SI-MEN (Akuntansi dan Manajemen) STIES , started from July 2018 there are some new regulations must be understood by authors. JIIF is published two editions annually in July and December in which there are maximum only 10 selected articles will be published in each issues.
  2. Ocassionally, special edition will be issued  which presents specific theme which determined by editorial board and managed by ad hoc editor. 
  3. All articles must be submitted to SI-MEN editorial office by making online submission here , where author register as Author and/or offered as Reviewer by online. If authors have any problems on the online submission, please contact SI-MEN editorial office at the following email: jurnal.simen@gmail.com
  4. Any articles submitted in this journal should be scientific (research articles), original and has not been published and/or sent to any journal or media. The writer should sign the statement letter which strengthen about this issues by confirming the submission checklist.
  5. The content of the article relates to focus and scope of SI-MEN . The translated of a manuscript is not accepted.
  6. The manuscript is written in English or Arabic which fulfills the criteria of good and correct writing.
  7. The length of article is around 6000 to 10.000 words with 1 space, typed in MS-Word, with Times New Roman font size 10on A4 paper (the margin for right, left, top and down is 2 cm).
  8. Due to blind review policy, the author must remove any trace of identification such as name(s) and e-mail address in the submitted manuscript file.
  9. The manuscript is submitted through OJS portal and confirm to email jurnal.simen@gmail.ac.id by attaching the author's short biography and statement of article originality.
  10. The abstract should:
    1. Written in Indonesia or English
    2. Provides a background, purpose, methode, result and conclusion.
    3. Be understandable to either academia or intellectual lay person 
    4. Be a single paragraph of not more than 250 words.
    5. Not citations or uncommon abbreviations were included.

Articles submitted should be written according to the author guidelines. The article template can be downloaded here, and have to be complied with American Psychological Association (APA) style.

 

SUBMISSION PREPARATION CHECKLIST

  1. The manuscript (along with the substance) has not been published and is not in the process of publication in other journals or media.
  2. The manuscript follows the style/format and references as indicated in the "author guidelines".
  3. All citations (citations) are included in the reference section
  4. Manuscript submitted uses 1 space; font letters are typed with 10-pts; using italic (italic) instead of the underscore (except for the url address); and all illustrations, drawings, and tables have been added to the content of the manuscript (not separated)
  5. Manuscripts submitted using Microsoft Word file format (.doc or .docx)
  6. Manuscript submitted has followed the rules in the policy of "blind review," in which the author's name and identifying information associated with the author has been omitted from the manuscript.

The names and email addresses registered in this journal site will be used exclusively for the stated purposes of Jurnal SI-MEN and will not be made available for any other purposes.
